CROSSING THE BLUELINE : Episode 5

Let me start with a perspective for the query of the last issue. BUILDING vs BUILDER. It is an equal and parallel growth. But in the recent days the Builders vanish when the promoters take over and promoters vanish when the buyers spread their domination. And at the end - The building is left uncared.

Nowdays the leaders stand bound to two things, one is the JINGLE MUSIC and the other is the “ANNA” CULTURE. People who are good jingle musicians, are nowdays good earners. They mint just by playing the instrument called Jingle. The leaders who are good listeners, listen to that music which gives them a soothing and boozing effect. But the leaders later face the drum beats and vocal orations which damages their achievements, efforts and their investment. On the other side is the ANNA CULTURE - Where you go to a leader say that “ANNA (brother or leader) You are the greatest in the world” - Your job is done perfectly, even at the cost of any other performer who strives hard to grow and establish.

Still the organizations are alive, because even if the quality leaders shorten their boundary, they play effectively inside their boundary. These effects give the organization a push which keeps the momentum growing. But the quantum of Quality leaders are decreasing with the quantum of Jingle musicians and Anna Culturist growing.

In recent days the Organizations are becoming ORGANIZED STATIONS...Meet the station master who will be permanently there...Pleadge yourself...Get a chance to rest at the Station with all facility with a title-“Leader”...Then leave when the time is up. The STATION...STATION MASTER will be there...The Leader who is only a resting passenger have to leave when the time is out...But he can boast in the further journey to unknown co-passengers that, he had been a Leader in the station guiding all activities of that station. Does the resting leader leave any mark of contribution?. May be not, because the time gets over before he comes out of the shock of getting a rest room at the Station.Also there is always a question, Why there is no FRESH STATION MASTERS emerging to keep the station FRESH? None ever thinks of it - because it is a tough job. 

What is effective leadership - FLEDGING or PLEADGING?
