The 2010 Asian Games, also known as the XVI Asiad, is a multi-sport event that opened in Guangzhou, China on November 12 and finishes on November 27, 2010. Guangzhou is the second Chinese city to host the Games, after Beijing in 1990. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao declared open the Games on Haixinsha Island. A total of 476 events in 42 sports will be contested by athletes from 45 nations, making it the largest event in the history of the Games. The games will also be co-hosted by Dongguan, Foshan and Shanwei, the three neighbouring cities.

1) Pankaj Advani(Advani studied at the Frank Anthony Public School, Bangalore. Advani is business communications student of Sri Bhagawan Mahavir Jain College, Bangalore.) – Cue Sports Men’s English Billiards Singles

2) Bajrang Lal Takhar (Bajrang Lal was born in a small village named Balu Baba Ki Dhani in Sikar district of Rajasthan. His father's name is shri Dula Ram Takhar, a Hindu Jat. He then went on to join the Rajputana Rifles regiment of the Indian Army, in which he currently serves as Naib Subedar.)– Rowing Men’s Single Sculls

3) Ronjan Sodhi (is a champion Indian trap shooter who won two silver medals in 2010 Commonwealth Games and a gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games. He is also a recipient of Arjuna award.)– Shooting Men’s Double Trap

4) Sudha Singh (She holds the current Indian National record for 3000m Steeplechase with a mark of 9:55.67)– Athletics Women’s 3000m Steeplechase

5) Preeja Sreedharan(She graduated from Alphonsa College, Pala.) – Athletics Women’s 10,000m

6) Somdev Devvarman and Sanam Singh – Tennis Men’s Doubles

7) Somdev Devvarman(He rose to prominence while at college at the University of Virginia NCAA in the USA. He is the only collegiate player to ever have made it to three consecutive Singles Championships, winning it in his junior and senior yea) – Tennis Men’s Singles

8) Ashwini Chidananda Akkunji (Born in a Kannada speaking Bunt family to her mother, Yashoda Shetty Akkunji and father, B.R. Chidananda Shetty.Ashwini hails from a agriculturist family. with a sporting legacy.[10]She grew up on her family's 5 acre farmland amidst Areca nut plantations along with her elder siblings a sister, Dipti and a brother, Amith. Ashwini is currently employed with the Indian Railways.)– Athletics Women’s 400m Hurdles

9) Joseph Abraham (Born in Kottayam district of Kerala , Abraham made a steady progress in intermediate hurdles. His first sub-52 came in 2003 and in the following year he clocked a time of 51.98 s. His best time in 2005 was 50.87 s)– Athletics Men’s 400m Hurdles

10) Vikas Krishnan (Vikas was born in Singhwa Khas village in Hisar district. His father Krishan Kumar Yadav is an employee in the Maharishi Dayanand University. In 1994 he came to Bhiwani along with his father, who was transferred to this city. In 2003, Vikas joined the Bhiwani Boxing Club. Later, he received training in the Army Sports Institute at Pune. Presently, Vikas is an employee of the Haryana State Electricity Board.)– Boxing Men’s 60kg

14) Vijender Singh (Vijender was born on October 29, 1985 in an Indian family in Kalwas village, 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Bhiwani, Haryana. His father, Mahipal Singh Beniwal, is a bus driver with the Haryana Roadways, while his mother is a homemaker. His father drove buses overtime so as to pay for Vijender and his elder brother Manoj's education. Vijender did his primary schooling from Kalwas, secondary school from Bhiwani and finally a Bachelor's degree from Vaish College.)– Boxing Men’s 75 kg

Sports is the one area where the phrase "NO BAR" is in real existence. Promoting the Worldwide Federation through SPORTS will reach and develop new heights eradicating all the existing "BARS" found inside the organization which is corrupting and sliding the wonderful organization.
