CROSSING THE BLUELINE : Episode 7

“LEADERS Should not carry appreciations…They should carry out the work…then the followers will follow without any disturbance. Also Leaders should educate the followers about their acts. It is not happening these days because of the good reasons Leaders Fear…Leaders suspect…Leaders want to be Leaders…Followers should be Followers… “

Now let us just go through the story below from the CBL perspective…

A Sage in his late forties and his young disciple in early twenties were passing through a jungle. As they met a river on their way, a young lady was trying to cross the river which had no bridge in the vicinity. The lady did not know swimming. After seeing the sage and his disciple, she requested the sage for his help in crossing the river.

The sage willingly offered the help wherein he lifted the lady on his back and easily swam to the other bank of the river. The disciple followed the sage with perturbed mind. After arriving on the other side of the river, the sage dropped the lady and moved on to continue his journey. The lady thanked him and took her own path. The young disciple followed the sage with heavy steps. He was wondering how his guru could lift a lady on his back so readily where both of them have renounced the world in search of higher callings.

After a while, the sage asked the disciple if there is anything bothering him. With some hesitation, the disciple put forth his doubt with due respect. The sage replied in simple words: “the whole difference is in the fact that I left the lady on the other side of the river, where she wanted to go, and you are still carrying her! The day you learn to drop things where they belong, your progress in the pursuit of truth will be faster.”

The other dimensions is WHYNOT the Sage had educated the follower before they start…so that the perturbed mind will not be there for the disciple… Most of the time this happens…
